Amber McCollum is the founder of AI Certified and co-founder of the Active Income Network. She is a credentialed educator whose career began in the classroom, including years teaching special education, where she learned that the right instruction can reach anyone and that no learner is ever the problem. She holds a master's degree in curriculum development and an Education Specialist (Ed.S) in educational leadership, and she built the sixteen-module AI Certified curriculum on the same research-backed instructional frameworks that shape rigorous education everywhere. Her consulting work as a senior technical assistance advisor has her guiding organizations through complex implementation, which is the same skill she brings to scholars: meeting people where they are and moving them to where the work gets real. She taught herself AI the way she now teaches it: by directing it through real work, from the animated explainers to the platform itself. She is a public speaker who co-hosts live workshops with a standing offer: anyone who has not greatly benefited by noon on day two gets their money back. She builds AI systems for real businesses and teaches scholars to do the same, because she believes income should be more than earned.
